Terms of Service

ZaparoAds is an advertising network at zaparoads.kbsoap.com, operated by KB Handmade Soap & Car Air Fresheners (“we”, “us”). Advertisers pay to have an ad shown; publishers carry ads inside apps and web pages they control and earn a share of what advertisers pay; we run the panel, the software that places the ads, and the review of every ad. By signing in you accept these terms. Where they say “the panel”, they mean the pages at zaparoads.kbsoap.com you sign in to.
1. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. One person uses one account, and you are responsible for everything done from it. An account is opened for advertising by the first payment that settles; we may also open it by hand.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why. A suspended advertiser keeps the right to a refund of unspent credit under section 2; a suspended publisher is paid what section 3 says is owed.
2. Advertisers
Credit. You add credit by card, in US dollars, through Stripe; we never see your card number. Credit is spent only as your ad is shown, at the price you set, and your balance can never go below zero: a campaign stops the moment one more impression would cost more than is left. Unspent credit is refunded to the card it came from on request, less whatever the card processor keeps on a refund; credit already spent on impressions is not refunded.
Price and ceiling. You set what a thousand impressions are worth to you and the most a campaign may spend in a day. There is no auction and no cost per tap: taps are counted and shown to you and never charged. Our count of impressions is what you are billed on. An impression is counted once an ad has been on screen for a second, once per delivery; an ad drawn from a device’s offline copy, where the count cannot be verified, is never charged.
Review. Every ad is reviewed before it runs, and again after every change. We may decline an ad, and we will tell you why; a declined ad costs nothing. We do not run adult content, gambling, anything aimed at children, anything dressed up as something it is not, anything unlawful, or anything that would put the apps carrying it at risk on the Google Play Store. The destination of an ad must work, must be what the ad says it is, and must not install anything or ask for payment details under false pretences.
Your content. You must hold the rights to the picture, the video, the words and the destination you submit, and you give us the licence we need to store them, resize them, and show them inside the apps and pages on the network for as long as the ad runs.
Where it runs. Your ad runs inside the apps and pages of publishers on this network, in the languages you wrote it in. You cannot pick a particular app, and we may stop a campaign at any time, for example when the ad no longer meets these terms or when there is nowhere left for it to run; you may pause or end a campaign at any time.
Reports. The panel shows how many people saw your ad and how many tapped it, as counted by the network. Nothing about the people who saw it is shared with you beyond those counts.
3. Publishers
Registering. You register only apps and pages you control, and you install the software as the panel hands it to you, with the key it gives that app. The badge on every ad, and its link, stay as they are. An Android app must be published on the Google Play Store to earn; an app not on the store, a page that exists only to show ads, or a property aimed at children, is not accepted.
Traffic. You must not generate impressions or taps yourself, pay or reward people for them, ask for them, or show ads in a way people cannot see or cannot avoid. Impressions that came from scripts, from farms or from one machine are not an audience. A day whose traffic looks like that, by the same rule the traffic report applies to every campaign, is booked at nothing, and we may withhold or reverse any earnings we find to have come from invalid traffic, including after they were paid.
Earnings. For every paid impression in your app or page you earn the share shown in the panel, as a percentage of what the advertiser paid for it. The share is booked once a day at the value in force that day; a change to the share applies from the day it is made and never to a day already booked. Impressions of our own house ads, which fill a slot when nothing paid fits, earn nothing.
Payouts. Earnings gather until they reach the minimum shown on your earnings page, then they are sent to you in US dollars by the method we agree on and recorded on that page. Before the first payout we may ask for the information the tax law of the United States requires of us, and you are responsible for any tax on what you earn. Money is never lost while it waits below the line.
Leaving. You may remove an app or a page at any time; installed copies keep working with the last ads they were given and stop being updated. We may stop serving an app or a page that breaks these terms.
What you tell your users. The software collects what our privacy policy says. You must disclose it in your app’s store listing and your own privacy policy; the panel gives you the text.
4. The service
We keep the network running as well as we can, and we do not promise that it never stops or that an ad is always delivered. A slot that nothing paid fits shows one of our own ads, so it is never empty. We may change the panel, the software and these terms; a change to these terms is posted here with its date, and a change that matters to you is announced in the panel. Going on using the service after a change means you accept it.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability to an advertiser is capped at what that advertiser paid us in the twelve months before the claim; our liability to a publisher is capped at what we owed that publisher at the time. You will hold us harmless from claims about the content you submit or the property you register.
5. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, and disputes are heard by its courts. Where a term cannot be enforced, the rest stand.
